Terms and Conditions

The Conditions of the agreement between Greyhound Adventures Pty Ltd (Greyhound) or any of its partners and subsidiaries and the passenger and purchaser of this ticket are set out below. Greyhound Adventures Pty Ltd confirms tour bookings on behalf of its partners; to make available to Greyhound customers their partner’s travel, tours, experiences and accommodation.
  1. All prices quoted are in Australian dollars (AUD) and are inclusive of GST
  2. Greyhound is acting only as agent for the passenger to arrange Greyhound Adventures tours, experiences and accommodation services and accepts no responsibility whatsoever for any act or default of that operator
  3. Bookings must be made in advance according to the stipulated minimum days notice required by the provider of the tour
  4. Passengers are required to re-confirm their bookings direct with the provider of the tour, experience or accommodation at least 24 - 48 hours prior to scheduled departure day
  5. Passengers can change their travel itinerary bookings up to 2 days prior to intended travel date
  6. If a booking is made the day before departure, passengers must contact the ‘Partner’ (tour provider) to confirm their booking
  7. The operator reserves the right to cancel any tour, change vehicle type or arrange an alternative carrier if the minimum numbers in a group is insufficient. Greyhound is not liable for the alteration of operator tours
  8. The tour operator may at their discretion, alter the itinerary due to poor weather, bad road conditions or any other reason for the safety of the passengers; Greyhound is not liable for any alteration to the tour operator itinerary
  9. Passengers undertaking tours and experiences should take care for their own safety. Tour operators and Greyhound are not liable for any personal injury, illness, death or any other consequences whatsoever
  10. Greyhound shall not be liable for any loss or damage arising out of or consequential upon, directly or indirectly, any abandonment of, delay in departure or delay during any trip howsoever caused
  11. All personal effects (including but not limited to; MP3 Player, CD Discman, Ipods, Cameras, Sunglasses), luggage or other goods are carried by passengers at own risk
  12. Travel insurance is NOT included, we strongly recommend that passengers have their own travel insurance for their trip against illness, injury, loss or damage to personal belongings
  13. Cancellation and Refunds
    1. Bookings cancelled more than 48 hours prior to the intended travel date will incur a 10% cancellation fee
    2. Bookings cancelled less than 48 hours prior to the intended travel date will incur 100% cancellation fee and no refund will be provided
    3. Bookings made and failed to load or notify Greyhound Adventures of any change 48 hours prior to intended travel will incur 100% cancellation fee and no refund will be provided Last Updated: 27th March 2009
    4. Refunds will be processed back to the passenger in the same manner the booking was made
    5. Where the booking was paid for by kilometre exchange, Greyhound Adventures will refund back kilometres to the passenger’s kilometre pass
    6. Where the booking was paid for by credit card, cash or eftpos, Greyhound Adventures will make appropriate arrangements to have the amount refunded to the passenger
    7. Bookings can be changed for another day of travel without penalty up to 48 hours prior to initial booking date
    8. Bookings that are changed will incur 100% cancellation fee and no refund will be provided if cancelled at any time after making a change.
  14. These conditions of this ticket contain all the terms of the contract between Greyhound Adventures Pty Ltd and the passenger and the purchaser of the ticket, and no condition, warranty or other term is to be implied, either by statute or otherwise, except to the extent that the operation of these conditions is excluded, restricted or modified by the Trade Practices Act, 1974.
  15. These Terms and Conditions do not exclude or limit the application of any provision of any statute, federal or otherwise, (including the Trade Practices Act 1974) where to do so would:
    1. contravene that statute; or
    2. cause any part of these Terms and Conditions to be void.
  16. Greyhound Kilometre Passes and exchange of kilometres terms and conditions are determined by Greyhound Australia Pty Ltd Terms and Conditions which can be found at Greyhound.com.au
