Itinerary

Day One

  • Swim with turtles at Basin Lake
  • Visit Central Station, the old logging community
  • Walk along the boardwalks at Wangoolba Creek viewing rare king ferns
  • Visit Pile Valley and the giant satinay trees
  • Swim at Lake Mackenzie

Day Two

  • Experience Beach driving along the 75mile beach highway
  • Walk or swim along Eli Creek
  • Visit the rusting hull of the Maheno Shipwreck
  • Relax in the Champagne Pools
  • Climb up Indian Head and enjoy the magnificent view of the Coral Sea
  • *Day 2 passengers depart after dinner approx 8pm

Day Three

  • Trek through the Island to Lake Wabby
  • Walk up Hammerstone Sandblow
  • Swim in the clear blue waters of Lake Birrabeen
