Itinerary
DAY 1 KATHERINE
- Departing Darwin you will travel by coach to Katherine in time for lunch
- Visit the Nitmiluk Centre and enjoy an afternoon cruise along the Nitmiluk (Katherine) Gorge
- There will be a little bit of walking so wear comfortable shoes
DAY 2 KAKADU NATIONAL PARK
- Depart Katherine today for 2 exciting days in Kakadu we will approach the Southern end of Kakadu through Mary River
- Visit Waterfall Creek (Gunlom), a deep, permanent pool surrounded by Pandanus palms and high cliffs
- Our final stop today is Cooinda where you will enjoy a Yellow Water Sunset Cruise
Itinerary
DAY 3 KAKADU NATIONAL PARK
- A morning visit to Nourlangie Rock which is just spectacular this time of day
- A visit to Ubirr, one of the two most famous Aboriginal rock art galleries
- Then onto Bowali Visitor Centre, an interpretive centre which is designed to help give you a greater understanding of Kakadu's landscapes
- Stop by the east Alligator River on the way back to Darwin arriving approximately at 5pm
